as others have mentioned, go ahead and contact ALG. If the trigger is installed correctly, and it sounds as though it is, the trigger reset should not be slower/worse than a standard milspec trigger. Sounds like they are going to take care of you. Let us all know how things go. good luck.

I have had an ACT and several QMS. One QMS seemed slower but all others have been leaps and bounds above the standard mil spec grit.

Just an update, they are sending me a new trigger and a return label for the old one. Great service as expected.

Good, there is definitely something wrong with the one you had as my experience is that the ALG is fully 85% of an SSA.

I had the same issue, I resolved it by using the old hammer. I hope this helps.

Glad you contacted them, and they corrected it. I had a ALG trigger that was dead, wouldn't reset...they quickly replaced it.

please post about the new results when you get the new trigger. I have been using mine constantly since I got it and like it a lot... however I don't think I can say its anywhere near 85% my SSA. Its not all that far off from the trigger that came in my CMMG LPK...just crisper. The SSA is just such a different animal and I have been trying to train with a more standard mil-spec set up. Its also a huge price difference if they are so close. Ive been shooting a long time but am brand new to the AR platform so I am still learning. I wish I could try another one just to see what it feels like.

Another vote for the SSA-E. I really like mine and after shooting it my son installed one in his Colt 6920.
