Any more updates on this scope from those who have shot it. Still holding up well? Thinking of getting a low power variable for my next upper and its between this or the PA 1-6. Thx.

No regrets here. Still shooting it and it still rocks.

Cripes. I ordered mine about 1 hour before the sale ended. Still waiting.

I had a feeling they would sell out quick so I ordered mine at midnight the minute the sale started. At least you got in on the sale price. Are you getting the free mount too for having to wait? That's pretty solid of them to do that. The free mount brings it back down to almost the sale price.

No free mount, but the 1/2 price. It's OK. Right now the outside temp is just not fit for man, beast, or synthetic materials.

Looking for updates. Very curious about turret function. Has anybody checked if the click adjustment values are accurate(.1MRAD)? Are the adjustments even, accurate and repeatable? From what I understand SWFA has had a good track record with this, even with their classic(cheaper) line of scopes.

I know most people don't dial shots with the turrets often on this scope type and price point, and new production scopes can have quirks to iron out.

Really like how they executed the Mil-Quad DM reticle, but the turret function will determine how useful it will be for what I am trying to do.

Want to use a 16" AR as a cheap way get into long(for me) range shooting, while maintaining it's usefulness for short range and keeping weight down. Recently found some new places I can shoot. Want to see how much fun I will have learning to make charts and dial shots out to at least 500 or 600. My theory is that I can get the basics down for .223 prices with a rifle I already own. Depending on how that goes, I may choose to upgrade to a new, purpose built, rifle/caliber/scope.

Don't want to derail thread, but am open to suggestions for other 1-x with mil/mil and turrets that will let me dial firing solutions. Just don't want to spend a pile until I have a little practical experience.

I agree not to derail this. But remember that the equipment requirement for long range accuracy is consistency. You should have a consistent barrel, trigger, and ammo.

When you turn to low budget LR stuff, you might want to look at this series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoW5bHQqgis
