    WOW. In the name of all that is holy.....That barrel needs a young priest and an old priest.

    Couldn't they at least rub some cold blue to pretty up the welds???

    I actually see a market, albeit possibly small, for reputable barrel manufacturers to alter the barrel profiles so a set screwed GB (w/ matching ID) could slip over a standard A2 flash hider. There's plenty of pinned ARs out there that the owners would love to be able to customize but can't. I know if I lived in a ban state or was building another 14.5", I'd jump on barrel/GB combo that had that capability.

    They could. But why bother? Probably said "just as well" and left it at that...
