Need alternative to Leupy Mk8 CQBSS H-27 for a LMT or KAC

I just can't bring myself to spend the money for a Leupy mk8 CQBSS 1-8 to put on a LMT MWS slick. What are the best alternatives in a 1-8 or 1-6? I like the Horus reticle for longer range semi 308s for the added speed, but it's not an absolute. I would like some ideas and rationale behind it. Hope to get my hands on a KAC ACC and would move the scope to it then. Thanks

The USO 1-8 is pretty good. Really good illuminated dot.

I haven't used the Bushy 1-8.5, but I do like their 1-6.5. Have to go SFP with these, illumination isn't spectacular, but the reticle is bold enough to not need it be daylight bright. Reticle is a little simple for much past 600 in comparison to the CQBSS.
