I don't disagree, I just enjoy the cognitive dissidence that everything must be 100% utterly reliable and dependable at all costs while at the same time "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN JUST APPLIED LUBE!!! OMGGG!!! THERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT AN OVEN YOU PSYCHOPATH!!"

I know, right? Like, why should have to lube the rifle. I just put ammo in it, shouldn't it work?!

And I put batteries in the light, but I ignored the stupid instructions about which polarity goes where. WTF doesn't it work!?

I have used the paste with good results. Biggest selling point was the lack of chemical smell. Results were good but honestly the heat treating is just a PITA.

Honestly here are a lot of snake oils out there and plain old CLP works just as good as any, it's cheap and readily available at Wally World.

I've used froglube exclusively for about 3 years. I'm not saying that I don't believe the people that say they have the freezing or gumming up issues, but I do find it strange that I've never experienced it myself. Where I live it gets pretty hot and humid in the summer, and cold enough in the winter that your spit will freeze before it hits the ground. I just don't seem to understand what I'm doing different?

Did you heat up the surfaces before/while applying it for the first time?

I know you aren't asking me, but no I didn't heat mine up.

vs some of the people who have complained about FrogLube in the cold, that is at least one thing you are doing different. You followed the instructions for the initial application. Some people don't think they should have to do that, so they don't, then gripe when it doesn't work.

Just for the record, I followed the directions to a "T" and still had 3 different guns develop cycling issues due to gumming up. In hindsight, I feel like an idiot for putting that much effort into applying a lubricant.
