Where is the weak point in this setup?

    Hey guys
I'm new here and wanted some opinions on where I can afford to make some changes in my build. This is my first AR and it has been coming together for about a year now.

Like many others I'm on a budget and have gone to great lengths to do my research and when possible to spend my money where it counts.

I feel like my weak point is my buffer system, and trigger. I bought them because they were a great deal and the guy at the shop told me they were "mil-spec". This was almost a year ago and I now know they are pretty important. Can anyone with a similar setup shed some light on any performance issues I might be looking at and what they did to fix them?

Right, sorry I have a reputable AR experienced gunsmith who will pin/weld my muzzle device for me.(pws fsc556) I can weld but my welding skills have only significantly improved my grinding skills so I'm not gonna try them on my barrel.

I figured the buffer system and lower parts kit were the weak links but I guess I want to know if I should change them before the rifle comes together or should I just see what happens.

Change them and start things off right with quality parts. Do it once, do it well, do it right.

That's what I was thinking....I guess I was hoping for the "eh it should be fine" answer.

Anybody have any suggestions for decent low cost parts that I need.

I see a lot of these kits are "mil-spec" like mine but the have no fire control group. This is telling me my LPK might be fine but a trigger upgrade may be in order...have I got it?

No reason to not install an ALG QMS trigger at minimum. $45 pretty much anywhere.

Aim Surplus has ALG QMS trigger for $45 and BCM Stock Kit for $60. Just over $100 and you go from (probably) DPMS to heavy-duty equipment.

I like what I hearing....so I can likely leave the pins and springs and so on and so forth but the trigger and buffer assembly have to go.

If I'm going to replace my trigger I'm going to do it once. What about the cmc triggers? Seem to be priced well and of good quality
