    Yes, but they have cuts on the side so that really only the top and bottom o the rail are around the MD.

    I went and looked at one of my SBRs. And 11.0 rail on an 11.5 barrel BARELY allows the A2 flash hider to do it's thing without constraining flash hider blast under the barrel. The wrench flats on the A2 are under the hand guard.

    Yes, and the long term prognosis for those rails is poor, at best. Enclosing ANY muzzle device inside an aluminum rail is a horrible idea. The only reason to have a setup like that is to run a suppressor, nested inside the rail, 100% of the time.

    Warsport designed there rail to allow gas to escape without causing damage.

    They say that, but that didn't jibe with basic physics. There are several good reasons muzzle devices are not made from aluminum.
