    Need iron sight suggestion

My colt 6920 has the mbuis rear on it right now. I do not plan to put a rds on it for awhile. Would the money be worth it to buy the lmt rear sight that is adjustable for windage and elevation? Or should I hold off and just pinch pennies until I can buy an aimpoint or acog? I wont be trying to drive it past 300 yds probably. I guess I am just nervous to how the mbuis holds up being flipped up all the time and bouncing around in a pickup daily.
    Thanks.

Mbus Gen II is pretty sturdy, even compared to a lot of metal sights. The LMT is nice and so are others like daniel defense and troy. Just depends on your willingness to spend the extra $$.

The MBUIS isn't bad though I do prefer other options. If you are wanting a fixed option the DD A1.5 is a good choice.

Keep an eye out for a Colt take off carry handle in the EE. You can get them for 50-60 dollars and have a solid rear sight.

No it is not. Have one in hand. that said, for GP I am not certain that I would need if for only getting out to 300. That is me though.

That said, as Markm said, a carrying handle take off would be a nice option as well. Just slapped an old carry handle on an old Bushy I had laying around and am quite enjoying shooting that thing as an irons only range toy.

For straight irons a carry handle is best. Stiffens the upper.

What is the added weight of a removable carry handle?
