    1/2 scale AR

    Just stumbled across this thread on another forum. I started skimming through the pages like I was looking at porn so I haven't read all his posts in detail, but I believe he machined all the parts except the barrel and he is in the legal process of having it classified by ATF.

    His original plan was to make it .17HMR, since I skimmed the pages, not sure if that changed.

    He has no skilled machining background, but has some metal working experience, was into RC Cars and bought some machining tools to build and repair his RC Cars.

    That led to this...

    Man, that's really cool. I can imagine seeing something like that in a firearms museum.

    Haha, what? Maybe badness and I are both missing something. Your responses are not related to the quotes you are responding to. That's where the confusion is coming from.
