Recieved my keymod inline scout mount today. M300b should be here in a few days, all i need is the Arisaka scout body.

They're a nice alternative to surefire heads. $79, made in the USA, more spill, more compact and a hair lighter. Good for building a light. If you already have a surefire head there's no need to switch unless you really want more spill.

What's so special about the Malkoff heads?

They're good quality, brighter and less than 1/2 the price of a surefire head. Not many affordable aftermarket replacement heads for scout lights.

Yessirreebob. They're done, but waiting on me to o-ring and package. I'm still with my family for the holiday.

Our solidworks engineer Andy air-guitaring earlier today with a KMR and milled prototype 45 degree scout mount, and new scout body. It's a bit messy because we didn't have the right tool on hand and had to make lots of small passes on the angled portion. Obviously this won't be an issue on the production run.

I think for just the light, around 130ish... plus $34 for the inline mount when they're back in stock. The balance of Size, quality of lighting, and price? There's no beating it.
