    Video: Silencerco Saker K

Well Silencerco just came down to film and I literally used up 100GB worth of video storage. This is the first of other reviews I'll be putting out. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks! I'm pissed about the wind but have since bought a better mic.

I figured there would be more views on it considering it's the only Saker K video on YT.

In your opinion how did the K sound compared to the standard model? In the video they sounded very similar and in a few shots the standard sounded slightly louder. Probably just the camera.

It's a tad louder. It's hearing safe on 14.5" and up barrels so I kept my ear pro on the whole time. Put it this way, if you setup a PDW type AR15 as shown in the video and used it for work, it would take the edge off if you had to use it. But for extended range sessions it makes it more enjoyable as the 7.5" is insanely loud.

Nice informative videos. I've been interested in the Sakers for a while and I think you sold me on one for the 11.5" build I'm planning.

BTW, must be a tough life having manufacturers bring new gear for you to play with huh?

You put out some helpful videos, thanks. Have you had the chance to shoot the specwar K model? If so, what is your impression of it? I ask selfishly because I have the Specwar762, which is great for my heavier .308s but kind of sucks on my 11.5" BCM gun (only due to the weight). I just purchased the Specwar K 556 last week and am excited to try it on the SBR and 16" LW guns. Thanks.

Well I filmed the tabletop footage but we had a gun host mount issue so I never got to shoot it that day lol. They will be coming back down right after SHOT so I'll get the footage then. I think I'll upload the big bore next, that thing was IMPRESSIVE! And thanks for the kind words!

Well, I did my part by watching it twice. It looked like there was a lot of flash when using the K. Was there a lot of flash like that on both settings (supressed/unsupressed)? Did you try the K on the 7.5 upper only? Is that amount of flash common with that barrel length?
