    Just so happened that we went to the range today, and another one of our Bushmasters started acting up with the same problem. Bolt didn't lock back on USGI mag, but will lock back by hand. Good thing we use Colts and save the bushmasters for the Iraqis on our team...

    Problem resolved. An associate reminded me to check the buffer spring. It never occured to me as we only have carbines. So it would appear that someone stuck a rifle buffer spring in the weapon and that was causing the problem. It's now GTG.

    That was such an off the wall/unusual thing.....Wow, something else to look for.
