Been really thinking about the saker k for a slightly smaller size and since it's smaller I'm assuming less blowback. Kind of hard to see myself spending 1300+ bucks for a suppressor
I was lucky enough to get my SOCOM on sale for $950 shipped

Same here I picked a couple SOCOMs & Minis up from Silencershop over the summer for $949 & $903, it appears they jacked the price back up to $1125 & $990. If I were on a budget and buying a single rifle can, Saker would look a lot more attractive to me at $820...

That's what I'm screaming! I was saving for the socom when it was in sale for 950. Now that it's 200 more in just don't see it. I would love it, but can't justify that right now.

I went SOCOM-RC as the Saker K wasn't out yet and was more concerned with muzzle flash, POI shift, and backpressure and the Saker was longer and heavier. Plus it helped that I got it for $950 shipped too.

Either can is awesome and should serve you well.

Same here but I'll add, the few tests from others I've seen with POI changes with the Saker looked minimal and repeatable as well, and flash is also a consideration the Sakers do have flash hider end caps although I haven't seen anyone test their performance at night I'd imagine they do well.... If Silencer Shop has the deal on RC & Minis in the future I'll probably pick up a few more but $1,125 is a little too much IMO.

My SOCOM ended up right around 1040 out the door less the NFA bribe. I'm happy I chose it over other contenders, which included Gemtech, AAC, and the other usual suspects. I really appreciate the Surefire mounting system. Noise was about #4 on my list of concerns.
