I haven't read what exactly the new "definition" is, but that was my assumption when I first read about the bill, they would eliminate the silly "more than 31 rounds without reloading" part of the definition.
They seemed to do a pretty good job of wrapping up all the currently proposed firearms related legislation into one bill.

That's the biggest thing for me (though I'm not from Ohio I do pass through or do a class on occasion). That was perhaps the most unbelievably asinine bit of legislation ever conceived in the known universe. "If it will accept a 30+ round magazine, >poof<, it's a machinegun."

Now if we can get that whole guilty until you prove you are innocent thing fixed....
As would I. Although it would be better if we had a campaign to simply abolish the NFA altogether at the National level. Or at least eliminate suppressors and SBR's as a start. That law has outlived any usefulness it may have had (something I'm not convinced ever really existed).
