Germany has different gun laws than we do... I believe a friend in Munich would call this thing an Arschgeburt ("ass-birth").

I spend a lot of time in Germany, and I'm vaguely aware of the gun laws there, and this still makes no sense to me...

I was looking through Google Images for a certain rail barrel length combo and came across this gem. Not strictly gunsmithing but surely deserves a guest appearance in this thread....

Vegas, that some bling there. Looks like some AR Pistols made for a Sheik. Do you know what were they asking?

Gunsmiths must be getting better, it's been almost a year since one screwed up bad enough to get a mention.

Blinged out Anderson w/o a trigger guard. Recipe for eternal success.

So the post is long since removed but a little Wayback Machine action reveals it was indeed $2700. Seems like a bonafide bargain to me!

Oh man, I didn't even spot the trigger guardless set up. Outstanding!

You obviously are mistaking a tastefully custom engraved Arabian stallion for the Poverty Pony.

I noticed the trigger guard figured it was for the winter castle in the Alps.

Indeed. Especially with the custom mil-spec trigger. Out of Dallas, probably a gift from some Texas oilman to a Sheik of Araby. With a provenance like that it should easily be double the price.

Wow... Just saw this Forgotten Weapons video on YouTube. This poor AK has been so Bubba'd and butchered it just leaves me speechless. Check it out.

Stuff like, the gas block assembly brazed on to the front of the barrel, rear of locking lugs ground down in an attempt to headspace the chamber. It's astonishing.
