That frame cut out is legit.

SOB did that to a Gen 2 frame no less, just shameful.

I'll admit with some embarrassment to putting a small bit through the sidewall of my first 80%... then again, I expected something like that to happen and bought the thing strictly to learn on with no expectation of successfully completing it as a firearm.

We learn by surviving the consequences of our mistakes, right?
You really have to ask why Conservatives have guns? Because Liberals block freeways, burn cities, throw Molotov cocktails, loot, turn over cop cars, and think this behavior is Socially Acceptable.

Local guy, shotgunner, has been known to use particular trees, to try to bend the barrels to get them to shoot where he wants them. Opposed, to adjustable(not in the M4 collapsible, but more the precision rifle realm, up down, left right, cant, ect) stocks. Did it to more than one gun, hell I've seen him do it to more than one gun, in fact did it to more than one gun that he was trying to sell, which is why I'd never buy anything that he owned. Or even had in his possession unsupervised for that matter. Granted, when I am talking bending barrels, I don't mean like giving it a 30 degree curve, but shoving a shotgun barrel between two trees and yanking or shoving it can't be good for it. The local club I frequent took the tree he used down as a part of some landscaping, though since I know the guy who did the cutting, he considered it more of a public service for shooter safety.

The same guy who is known for bending barrels, also, at least from what I heard, kind of got banned from the Cabela's used gun library and caused them to institute a new rule regarding returns. Or at least that is the rumor.

ETA: Also, the shotguns that he was doing this to were not your $100 H&R single shots. I'm talking more like Winchesters, Beretta, and Browning if he were slumming it that week, otherwise Perazzis, Kreighoffs, Ljutics, Caesar Guerinis, and the like. Basically on the low end about the price of a FNH SCAR.

Basically, kinda like 'zen of the 100yd zero barrel using beechwood.
    200 yds using oak.'

Tree-hugging, but with rifle barrels, good clean fun.

Trees? New one on me. I've adjusted 870's by manipulating the mag tube, not the barrel. I'm not high brow enough to own an O/U.

The S&W Revolver Armorer's kit used to come with two lead babbitt bars which were used to knock yokes into alignment and change POI on fixed sight revolvers.

Ahhh, those were the days, when real men worked on real guns.....

    And I watched. LOL

It’s actually not that uncommon around skeet and trap ranges. Saw a guy with a $40k Krieghoff one time wrapped in a towel and bent between his bumber and trailer hitch.
