Well, uh, the advice I've seen on this forum for mis-aligned sights is to whack the front sight base with a mallet.

    I've never done it.

Not a mallet, you'll mar the finish. A lead babbitt, with a clean shop towel wrapped around it if you feel the need.

You also need to make a noise when you do it:

If we are referring to an AK? Then the answer is yes. But that is because it is well an AK.

Umm, maybe. But, I've been shooting trap, competitively I might add, I got the trophies to prove it, for 15 years and it wasn't until I moved up to PA a few years back that someone even mentioned it. That said, with the exception, I've seen rather few high dollar shotguns that did not pattern straight, not saying ti didn't happen, but a $10K or more Krieghoff that does not shoot right is going back to Ottsville and having them work it out. I ain't doing that myself with a tree. Maybe I am cynical or lazy though, I do know the lead gunsmith for the joint.

Unless of course we are talking about the guys wrapping a barrel around a tree in a fit of rage. Also know a guy who left a Beretta sticking out of the ground like a javelin one time as well.

Here is a home made ar15 i traded for a cheap $250 shotgun. After closer inspection i think the other guy might have got the better deal. The lower and the bcg were not made in bubba's tool shed so im not out anything but the upper is very "interesting". Lol. Beside the obvious someone tried to make a home made gas block to finish it off. Needless to say the gun did not cycle.

    Hold my beer brah...

That actually looks like a Chiappa M4-22 barrel. They have a fake A2 birdcage on them from the factory held on by a set screw. I took it off the one I have and used a 2/28 die to thread the end of the barrel so I could put a can on it and it looked exactly like that.

Facebook AR builder pages are a never ending source for this thread. I am on two of them just for images like this.
