Currently TLR-1's on all my pistols and carbines. Lights mounted at 12 o'clock on carbines. For the money I've found them hard to beat.

I've been very happy with TLR-1s.
Have been more than satisfied with the SF.X300 (1st Gen). It simply works for me.
Here's a dated shot of said mating:

I own two TLR-1 HLs and 1 TLR-2. I also own various SF lights, but none of the X300 versions. I have a SF Scout mounted to my AR. I've been happy with performance of both brands. I've found myself branching away from SF in recent years with other manufacturers really stepping up their game, Streamlight to be one. With quality and durability being so close between the two, I believe I get more bang for the $ with Streamlight W/O sacrificing reliability or performance. I have no doubt others will disagree.
Bedside/house gun is currently a G27 with a TRL-1 HL, contour remote switch and CT laser grip. Trusty SF 6Z (upgraded LED head) goes with me as the hand held.
