is there a spacer on the inside of the KAK tube, since it's longer than a standard carbine tube?

I can't believe the timing....I just ordered a KAK Supertube this morning to do the very same thing! Only difference is I'm not going to use a spacer, just go for the extra ~ 1" the Supertube gives me over the current Thordsen buffer tube (I bought the whole kit a while back).

    Thanks!

Question: Which of the screws will I have to remove to get the CAA saddle/Thordsen tube off? The four at the front, the two at the rear, or both?

Why are you talking LOP with a pistol? Just use the damn thing as intended - as a better cheekrest.

I want to take the whole kit and kaboodle off and put it on the KAK for an improved LOCW (length of cheek weld). I know the front 4 (2 on each side) have to come off to get past the non-functional protrusion that usually has holes in it. I was just wondering if the rear ones had to be removed or loosened also. It's just that it was such a PIA to assemble (the "instructions" sucked) that I didn't want to take it completely apart if I didn't have to.
