"When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." Thomas Jefferson.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
Chuck, we miss ya man.

This is the one right?
I actually want one, lightweight and it could be cheaply mounted on many rifles. Also 2A Armament's 1.35oz titanium T3 compensator is designed to mount it.

I know you have your mind made up, but this looks interesting and messes up my plan...
https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...ed-Suppressors
It reminds me a lot of the Saker 762, except a fullsize and Mini in one can! and from the designers that left Silencerco which is why i mentioned Deadair earlier, but I like the mini/fullsize combo much like the Griffin Armament Revolution pistol cans.
I know you made up your mind, and you should be happy with your choice. That being said, I had the same requirements as you for home defense, and after a lot of research (and the fact that I reload and have a Dillon 650) I ended up with a 10" 300BLK and the Specwar 7.62 can for my HD weapon. I have specwar brakes on my 5.56 guns as well so I can run the same can on my other guns.
It's hard to beat a short suppressed 300BLK with subs for quiet indoor shooting.
