    Compact ACOG Mounts

Just picked up a 3x24 ACOG.

Trijicon is recommending the TA51 as a fixed option, but that base looks ridiculously large for this scope.

The TA60 looks like a better choice if I'm going to run a fixed mount.

Any advice from Compact ACOG owners?

I'm also looking at the Weaver Mount, but I can't confirm if it includes hardware. Bobro doesn't appear to offer one; the LT-105 looks like a solid option as well.

Lastly, the ADM mount looks like a potential candidate.

I'm not OVERLY concerned with R2Z, but the reduced bulk of some of the QD options is enticing.

For my mini ACOGS (TA44SR-10's) I use an ADM mount. It's lightweight and consistently returns to zero upon re-attaching.

Interesting. You have any pics of it mounted up? I had no issues whatsoever with my ADM RMR mount. The price on that is VERY right.

The LaRue mount is the Gold Standard. I have been using one on a TA33 for years. It is great!
In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

I have only had LaRue Flashlight mounts. No bitchin here. They were nothing but solid.

I was finally able to find a Trijicon-branded Bobro mount, but it would put the optic way too high. Both the ADM and Lazrue appear to be about the height I'm looking for.

Ended up going with the TA60 Thumbscrew mount. My ACOG has three holes which, to the best of my knowledge, only the new-school thumbscrew mounts are compatible with.

I have a new TA33 and found the TA60 too tall. Snagged an ADM AD-B2 and it works great with my TA33. In fact, this AD-B2 is a much newer revision, as I have an AD-B2 from 2009 and it doesn't have the outer holes for a compact ACOG. The new AD-B2 centers the ACOG in the mount, unlike most of the older pictures you see online of this combination.

When the TA60 shows up, I'm gonna see how she rides. If it's taller than I'd prefer, I will most likely flip it and go with the ADM.

TA50 in a LaRue LT105 for years with no complaints.
