How do you half expect something?

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward.
Whoever cannot take care of themself without that law is both.
For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you, if I die, you are forgiven."

I could see with some manufacturers how that extra movement ability might not be a good thing.....

Its mounting it the same manner, just with the optic facing the other direction.
    Stick

Oh, OK. So it's simple reversability, but not "swivel-ability" (for lack of a better word).

Sometimes I suffer from a fundamental lack of reading comprehension.

    thats what I was thinking...

How about you drop the thing off a building for us. See if it can with stand as much abuse as the aimpoint can. I would assume it does, Bobro makes some good equipment but I would like to see it under some heavy stress for grins

It's scary what stuff gets through the cracks sometimes. EOTechs Samson flip mounts they use have a locking cam technology also. I broke it twice and the same way both times. The latch of the mount was rubbing against my ammo pack and that was enough to break the inner shaft. Can't believe EOTech let that through...

The Comp M4 that I am using is not mine, and I am not able to do destructive testing or anything approaching it. Aimpoint is not one of the manufacturers that I work with, so there is no help from that angle either.

Sorry, if I had the opportunity to work it over I would, but with this optic its not currently an option. On a side note, the Aimpoint I own has been heavily used, so I have faith in their equipment. I also have faith in the Bobro mount.

So just to be certain, Will it work with an Aimpoint M4S without the need for a spacer. I would prefer not having to use a spacer if at all possible.

It will work without the spacer. You'll need to use the Aimpoint short screws in installing w/o the spacer.

That sounds cooler than the other side of the pillow.

How does it not need any adjustment for out of spec rails?

Any plans for ACOG mounts (Compact & Fullsize)?
