Best options for a QD 300 win mag suppressor

So I do quiet a bit of long range shooting (so far up to 800 yards) with my 300 win mag for elk and large mule deer. My 300's win as they sit, all have brakes, and they are unpleasantly loud just as you expect them to be. After shooting a bull elk a few years ago with a large rock wall a few feet to my left side (Had to run up a ridge and was my only shooting lane) my left ear rang for almost 4 days. I have plenty of 5.56 suppressors and from many different companies so I'm not a specific fan boy of any per say. I also have no need for 300blk so that isn't anything I want to consider with this can. (shoot 300blk out subs out of my pistol cans) I can hunt in my state with a suppressor and would like to take advantage of that. Deer, Elk, Bear, etc, etc. I would like to have the QD feature and I am not interested in direct thread on suppressors. Right now I hand load 300 win 180gr accubonds with 75gr of RL22 and are right at 3100 FPS. I don't know if the added pressure would pass the limits of a 7.62 can that's rated up to 300 win. Having the option of using it on another platform or to be able to detach it quickly is a plus. Obvously have no need to put it on a 5.56 platform. I don't want to have it attached to my rifle while walking 10 plus miles a day in the mountains, so Ive been looking at a lot of different offerings with a QD mount such as Surefire's 7.62RC, AAC MK13 SD , Saker 7.62, etc. If I don't need a 338 can, I would rather not. But if these 7.62 cans wont hold up to the hand load 300 win, Ill have to. Right now I have been shooting Browning A and X bolts, and Rem 700's in 300 win, and 7mm mag mainly. Cost is not a factor. I plan on an AI 300 win rifle in the near future, so I don't know if that plays into my decision at all. If you have been down this road before, any input is appreciated.

The Surefire 762, Saker 762, or the new Rugged Surge 762 (although not quite out and vetted, but designed by previous Silencerco engineer) are all rated to handle those loads. The Saker or possibly the Surge will be quieter according to most.

ETA: Doesnt thunderbeast make some still lightweight QD suppressors?

Easy, one of the very best cans for a precision bolt rifle is the Griffin Armament Sportsman. Many do not realize that cans designed for bolts are different than for semi autos as they have to worry about back pressure and ejection port noise, while with a bolt you do not. I would not want to hang a heavy can like the Saker or Socom off of a bolt gun, as the extra weight will effect poi change more than a lighter can. The taper mount from griffin is also one of the very best at return to zero after removing.

Silencer Shop is very high on this can.

The Silencerco Harvester is a similar setup and is slightly lighter than the GA, but most feel the Sportsman is quieter.

Appreciate the reply. I will look into the Rugged Surge. While I do like the bomb proof RC, I know folks that discount it because they say its louder. I tend to look at other benefits of the can and not look at the few dBs I might or might not be giving up. I'm really interested in the Saker, and have been considering one in 5.56 also, but I just have to get to better educated decision before pulling the trigger. If it was for a 5.56 rifle, I wouldn't have even posted. Just never ventured into big bore suppressors.

I havent looked at thunderbeast offerings in a while until right now. I have used a few of there thread on suppressors before, and just haven't thought to look back at them for QD offerings. Looks like the 30CB9 is an interesting offering. No experience with the taper mount it seems to be?.. Also looking now at the griffin Armament at only 12.5 oz is very appealing. But again, still might have to look more into the taper mounts. The people on the videos selling them say there GTG. Anyone with experience with them?

The Harvester Big Bore looks decent. QD option is the ASR MAAD. The can looks a little interesting, but if it preforms, its worth a look. But right at 22oz, I would probably just go with a tried and true SOCOM RC then.

Ruling out the Rugged Surge for the time being. As it has nice features, I don't think I would ever use them.

Thanks for the input so far. Appreciate it. Helps me look outside of the box that I sometimes get stuck in.

Take a look at Templar Tactical Nemesis or ARK30 both with PMS.

With the Saker 762 being rated for 300RUM, I don't think your handloads will be an issue. Either go QD, or their Direct Thread MAAD module.

Although, if you're not in a rush, I'd wait and see the details on the SiCo Omega in the near future.

No rush. I guess with Shot coming up in the next few weeks, Ill have to stop by the booths to see whats coming out. With prices so low at the moment, gives me more opportunity to expand the collection a little bit.
