Thanks for the heads up.

Question for you guys with more experience. I'm ready to pull the trigger on the Omega, but i'm wondering if this can will be durable on an 11.5 BCM lightweight, or if I would be better suited to a saker/specwar (556 both). I don't exactly burn though ammo, I like to go easy on my LW. This seems like the shortest, lightest bang for the buck while being around/under 140 DB.
The Omega is full-auto rated and carries a lifetime warranty. It should be plenty durable for your 11.5.

I recently bought an Omega because it satisfied the requirements I had: as lightweight and short as possible, rated for the minimum barrel lengths I currently or will use in the future (10" for .223/5.56), and full auto rated in case I ever have dolla dolla bills to throw around. I'm not huge on absolute dB reduction numbers. Throw in the fact that SilencerCo has some of the best customer service in the industry (or in general) and it was a no brainer for me.
I think you're good to go with the Omega on a 11.5" 223/556 barrel.
I went with a brake as there have been a few threads/pictures depicting evidence that the brake can act as a sacrificial blast baffle, especially when the suppressor is used on a SBR. That and I don't intend on shooting my SBR without a suppressor too often. If you do, consider a flash hider.
I went to order a Saker 7.62 this evening and the price jumped to $1,024 from $899 at Silencer Shop. This is disappointing. Maybe Silencer Co. is attempting to have them steer customers to the omega. With that increase its worth my time to re-evaluate offerings from other manufacturers.
