I just noticed the following statement on Silencer Shop's Omega 7.62 page. I never noticed this being there before:

"SilencerCo was able to make the Omega so light by wrapping a paper-thin layer of titanium around a stainless steel baffle stack & a Stellite blast baffle. Because the outer titanium tube is too thin for welding, SilencerCo relied on gluing the core into the tube instead - and the result is one of the lightest consumer-oriented 7.62mm suppressors on the market."

The "gluing" statement is interesting. Anyone have an Omega with 5000+ rounds downrange yet?

There was a post on TOS that showed an Omega with a "jacket separation". I can't remember how many rounds it had. With that said, I still ordered an Omega.

If that ever did happen to mine I'm not the least bit worried because I know Silencerco has my back and has the best customer service in the industry.

Yeah, that was interesting. The Jackets are rocksetted on. The problem occurred when people unscrewed the mount portion while having the end-cap removed. SiCO took care of them fast.

I think keeping the endcap on should prevent the issue I think.

I wonder if the disclosure now is due to folks having separation issues? I was going to order the Omega but will be getting another Saker instead.

    Honestly, I think it's a non issue.

Update for anybody interested. Made an adjustment to the adapter based on the newer ASR mount design. SiCo had gotten a lot of reports of cans getting stuck on rifles, mounts getting stuck inside cans, and general carbon buildup. They've since redesigned the ASR mount to add an extended smooth lip that seems to have at least reduced, if not eliminated, the problem.

Got the new version today and tested it on an Omega and also with my Y-Mount MAAD mount. Everything seems to fit perfect. However, I don't have a standard Saker Trifecta MAAD mount, and I'm assume that will be the most common use. I'll be able to test fit that later this week and then we'll post the item up for sale on THSF's website. (Ti version is the only one currently planned to be produced). Some new pics:

Omega ASR mount, new adapter (SS), current adapter from different source, new adapter (Ti):

    For anybody interested:
    Old style SS adapter: 1.4oz
    New style SS adapter: 1.6oz
    New style Ti adapter: 1.0oz

I've been sketching out a F1 centerfire can and after getting my Omega was wanting to try to make it fit my ASR mounts. The ASR lock is just a ring with an elipse cut on the back side, notched, threaded on with a set screw to set the lock range. About the only thing I can't figure out is where to get or how to make the spring that locks on the knurls of the muzzle device.

Have you thought about just using an ASR MAAD and an adapter to fit your F1 suppressor (threaded for adapter)?
