How much room is needed behind the asr flash hider/brake to mount the Omega? If I got one the primary host would be a 10.5 AR but I have a 10" rail on it. I think this may cause problems.

While I cannot answer you question exaclty with the ASR mount, the collor for the muzzle threads is inside the rail. It's pretty universal knowledge that 10 rails on 10.5 barrels do not fit with QD suppressor mounts. Same with 12 rails on 12.5 barrels. I have yet to come accross one that works with only .5 difference. Surefire, AAC, Knights, all need right about .7 roughly to fit. KAC needs a little less. To put in perspective. A MK18 with RISII and 10.3 barrel, there is a .75 difference. If the ARS mount works with only .5 difference, that would sweet! But I have my doubts.

After looking through some pictures and watching some videos with close up shots of a mounted Specwar it looks like it is possible to mount it on a 10.5" barrel with a 10" rail. I found a picture of a guy who did it and posted pictures. As long as the standoff of the muzzle device from the barrel shoulder or the overlap of the ASR module over the muzzle device didn't change with the Omega then I think it will work. I might just find out for myself.
Sounds quiet!still want DB levels though
Silencer Shop video coming soon, they said.
Has anyone been dead nuts set on a Saker 7.62 and has actually pulled the trigger on the Omega. Just curious if it immediately swayed someone that was 100 percent set on the Saker before this came out..

Yes but only because someone convinced me that Surefire is the way to go if you are obsessed with quality in aspects of mounting and blowback. So I went with the Surefire SOCOM 762 RC for my duty-grade semi-auto .308 and picked up the Omega for .300blk use, hunting, and for 30 cal bolt guns because it light, supposedly exceptionally quite, and as a new product has SilencerCo's customer service behind it.
