I found it interesting that in the SilencerShop video the dB numbers at the shooters ear are noticeably lower when going from the 762 Anchor brake (134.5dB avg. muzzle, 145.8dB avg shooter's ear) to the 556 flat end-cap (131.7dB avg. muzzle, 134.0dB avg. shooter's ear). The avg. levels only drop 2.8dB at the muzzle but at the shooter's ear the levels drop 11.8dB. That is a significant difference with the same rifle, ammo, and day; truly hearing safe vs not. Capitol Armory then mentions how the anchor brake is effective at mitigating recoil when using 556 (but oddly is negligible with other calibers). Too bad SilencerShop didn't post 762 flat end-cap numbers also. Maybe they were negligible in comparison to the 762 brake like Capitol Armory's video showed but even if it is negligible at the muzzle, I am curious to see shooter's ear level differences). Too bad also SS did not compare the Omega to the Saker and Specwar in the same outing like Capitol Armory did. It would be great to see a full comparison from two independent sources. Also too bad Capitol Armory didn't have shooter's ear numbers. The 10" 556 SBR muzzle levels less than 140dB are amazing, curious about the shooter's ear too.

It seems the Omega is living up to the claim of quieter even if it is not as much as led to believe.

I am jelly, should have mine in the next couple weeks or so I hope. My intended set up in on a 16" 556 so I was quite happy with how the Omega did dropping the anchor brake for a 556 flat end cap. At the end of the day I still plan on dual purposing it with a 300 BO sbr.

1.5oz weight of the anchor brake
2.2oz weight of the direct thread
    3.4oz weight of the ASR
3.4oz weight of the muzzle brake

Looking really good as far as weight goes, now just waiting for some more testing on the noise levels.
Just weighed the 5.56 Flat cap I have here, 40g (1.38 OZ)

How the anchor brake manages to only weigh 2.5g more than the flat cap is a mystery to me. That is the weight of a penny for reference.

Well...today was the day...the Omega came into dealer. I took lunch ( i work night shift to take care of my baby in the am ) and hauled ass to my range which is thankfully 5 mins from work...gave them my trusts check and got a pic...Going to shoot it sunday since this is the wife's setup i wanted her to be there for the first shots.

    Quick run down on firearm..
PSA Complete lower with magpul furniture
    Radical Firearms 10.5" upper
    PSA BCG
    BCM CH
    DD sights
    10" seekins MSCR rail

I think the can fits PERFECTLY..this is direct thread config and sorry its not a better pic but had to hurry and only took one, will have more sunday(probably some video as well).
But yes i think the fitment for this setup is perfect. The can barely goes under rail(like 1/8" maybe)..but without further ado...here she is..

Just curious where you got the direct thread at if your threads are 1/2x28? Silencerco told me the 1/2x28 direct thread adaptor was still in development...
