While the XC1 was obviously engineered for CCW on a G19 with switching optimized for that app, seeing at 12 O'clock on a full-length railed carbine brings up a great point. With the "horsepower" advancements in LED weaponlights over the past 5 years and most now boasting 500+ lumens, we can now have a VERY low profile and very lightweight weaponlight that still boasts "2012" levels of illumination. This could be, perhaps should be, the next frontier of weaponlights for primarily indoor / short range use! I love my M600U Scout lights, but for my applications would rock a XC1 with an SR pad!

You mean how like Frank Proctor uses a PT1L on a carbine, and Kyle Defoor has been using Streamlight TLR3's for a while now?

Would love to see how it fits on a P2000 if anyone can get a pic!

Yes, but with the lower profile advantage of the XC1 where it really hugs that 12 oclock rail and is NOT visible through an Aimpoint using a lower 1/3 cowitness height mount

So like the PT1L or an Inforce WML then? (both at about half the price)
