Welp... it's finally time to set up the trust and go the sbr route...

    So, which would you sbr?

-M&P 15 lower (sold as rifle) with about 200 rds through it
    -spikes jolly Roger (undesignated)
    -psa blem (udesignated)

Ah thank you. They're the only ones I have. May even pick up something a little blingier for that purpose but for now, money is tight.

I'm wondering how many sig brace guys will get a trust to use the Sbr upper vs how many will just sell them and go back to 14.5/16

There are two trains of thought on it. One is to SBR the cheapest lower you can, because it will essentially be worthless if you decide to give it up. The other is to SBR the best lower you can afford, because you'll have it for life.

I haven't gone the SBR route yet because I have a RR M16 (for now). When I do, I'm going to try going the best quality route. I'm also going to try and do it on a Form 4, so engraving isn't an issue (but finding one can be). That way I CAN get my money back out of it if I ever need to. On a Form 1, I'd definitely go cheap.

Haha that's the dilemma I'm in. Question is, who is going to buy it now, I'm sure demand will go down since it's a hassle now.

    I have:
    Two <16" uppers
    Reloading supplies for 300 blk

And 300 blk's primary purpose is short barrel. So now do I cut my sell everything off and cut my losses or go sbr?

My solution is to sbr one lower to keep my one AAC barreled VLTOR upper and sell the cheap 10.5" PSA MTAC beater 300 barrel.

Never thought of it that way, thank you for your input.

So... without rehashing the whole thing... Are the braces no go with a short barrel at all? Or is it just the act of shouldering it that's not approved.

So this whole debate is ridiculous. Shoulder when you can, and behave if you're on a public range where ARFtards might be there to run up to you and enlighten you with their knowledge of idiotic ATF policy.
