Any experience with the PA 4-14x40 ACSS??

I'm looking into buying one as my long range optic for a 556 bull barrel. I had to qualify at 500 meters with iron sights and throughout my career with an ACOG, but I never had the chance to use a nice scope. Not looking to drop a grand or more on an optic so I am looking at these scopes. I know PA has good products for very inexpensive prices. Any thoughts, comments, or experience?

I have the 4-14 mil/mil. It's a decent scope for the price. Hasn't lost zero. It's not going to compare to the higher end ones, but for a range only rifle I believe it fits the bill nicely.

That is pretty much all that I want from it, I'm obviously not taking it overseas. I just like the idea of being able to shoot longer distances if the itch to do so were to rise.

I haven't gotten mine to the range yet because they were backordered forever and just received it last month.

    Mounted on my PS upper:

    Finished the build last weekend:

I just got Mk262 type ammo in today...CBC and SSA. I'll try to get out this weekend.

I've got the same on my 6.8 coyote gun and would have to agree. I don't know that there's anything better for the price...

Sounds good! I tried to google as much as I could about the scope and mostly found the actual PA reviews or videos. I would like to know durable they are especially since the warranty is only 3 years. I've had other PA products and the glass has always been exceptional for that mid level price range.

The guys over at TTAG did a review of the mil/mil one that's worth checking out. They did a 2 year update and claim its still going strong. I like that they did a box test.

I bought it late last night and it should be here before the weekend. I'll do a minor review and may make a video if I get time. I have a good amount of experience behind expensive glass options, so I have a basis for the review. I'm hoping it fits the bill and proves to be durable, I'm not going to torture test it though.
