    I want a Saiga 12

I own 2 shotguns one Sears pump passed down to me by my grandfather and a maverick. Both of these are pumps therefore very reliable. Now that I am becoming more tactically oriented I want an auto-loading shotgun and I have come across the Saiga 12. It is based on the AK which I own and have had very few failures in this tried and true design. now to the problem at hand. How reliable are these guns as compared to other auto-loading shotguns, on a zombie slaying scale of 1-10 how efficient would they be, and finally how easy would it be to add accessories such as a folding stock, shortened barrel? Would it be just like the AK just on a 12 gauge scale? also if you have one please post a picture i need ideas if i decide to purchase one and please add if you sent it off to customize it or did it yourself.

    thanks

I can't help you much on the building part, I bought a TROMIX. I love mine. on your scale of 1-10, I would give it a 9. They suffer the same shortfalls as the AK. Safety location and the lack of a magazine well

I will have to take some pics. It is a traditional conversion with the stock forearm and a US wood grip and stock. I'd like to get my hands on a halo rail or something for it.

    Scattergun--

Very impressive video. Makes me want to move from the Peoples Republic of IL and own one myself. Have you patterned that weapon? Does it handle slugs well?

It's funny. My dad bought one a few years back, and I laughed at him when he brought it in the house. Now that I am more into shooting, and see the usefulness of such a weapon, I am jealous.
