Haven't cleaned my SLR yet on a 11.5 SBR with Socom RC with about 1750 now through it. No issues. There good to go in my book.

I'm running the same upper (BCM 11.5" BHF w KMR) as you with a SOCOM 556RC and an H2 buffer. It runs with and w/o the can with no issues. I don't notice any blowback. I bought some of that high temp silicon to put on my charging handle but never got around to it, it seems unnecessary. I wouldn't consider an adjustable GB for mine, YRMV.

Thanks for the info- I've got the silicon charging handle mod and Enhanced carrier so I should have even less blow back than you. I'll try this out first before I do any mods.

I appreciate all the info everyone, if I do feel like I need something else I'll take another hard look at an SLR.
