I just found the thread I was talking about, and it looks like low pressure was not the issue; there was popped primers and bulged brass though.

Those are excessive pressure signs. That's the stuff barrel kabooms are made of.

Some of their lots are fine as far as pressure goes some are over. All Independence that I've seen shows signs of soft brass which makes it less desirable for reloaders.
