I do not believe that "limit of their experience" is a very accurate assessment for a lot of folks on here. Plenty of folks here, including myself, have a lot more then just surefire suppressors. The forum is pro-surefire because of there performance. If they lacked in performance, no matter what brand, you would not see the following they have here on M4C. While I do think your assessment is fair in the Surefire and Saker with FH. Everyone has a tendency to defend what they think is the best and what they have bought. There are plenty of fanboys to every brand. I do not think this thread reflects that.

Silencer Shop testing wasn't so hot with the omega, I have no doubt the flash signature out of the Omega will be significantly more than many other cans, you lose even another 3-4Dbs taking the anchor brake off, OAL length with ASR mount & anchor brake is around 8" & weight in that configuration is 18oz, not nearly as impressive as the can was hyped to be.

FYI, I have SureFire cans and SiLCo/SWR cans and I show no bias. With that being said, the SpecWar 762 has horrible flash, my SureFire cans are much better in that respect, but are also a little louder. No exp. with Saker.

I'll concede that I didn't phrase that as tactfully as I could have. I believe the Surefire does two things very well compared to other suppressors: POI shift repeatability and flash reduction. The Saker beats the Surefire in flash reduction with the addition of the end cap but it is done so by increasing length and weight.

A little, its hard to tell in Rifle suppressors, because they are never hearing safe IMO. The tone is usually what makes one sound louder than another.

You will, for the most part, receive exactly what you ask for, here. You do yourself no favors by insulting the people in which you seek advice. I am heavily invested in SilencerCo. products, but there is no suppressor that does everything that you are looking for. If you are going to come here an ask for opinions, you should really be prepared to accept the opinions or don't ask the questions.

Yeah, but if someone posted on the 1911 forum asking for input about which Springfield from his choices to get and multiple people said "get a colt".........
