    Yikes! Those be pricey!

The new ergo Keymod covers look nice also:

Hard polymer (3 pack is 10.50):

Soft rubber (4 pack is $10):

It sure would be nice if BCM would let us know if their keymod rail covers will be coming out in the next 4-6 months. The same on their HF ELW barrels. A little off topic maybe, but I see from Criterion Barrels's page, they're getting into the Nitriding game. Interesting

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.

this may be an unpopular option but i just put grip tape (skate board/deck tape) in the places i need extra traction. it's supper grippy, way cheap, easy to cut to any shape you want and fits into odd shapes/angles. down side is that it removes with a little difficulty (heat gun and goo gone) but it's nothing insurmountable.

I would be very skeptical that rubber-based tape with adhesive would stand up to the heat that those rails endure.

The Railscales look interesting, but they need some different textures and sizes IMO.

I didn't like any of the options, so I went DIY.
