Yeah, I've seen that a few times but only when shooting in 15+ MPH full value winds. I think if I had a beef with the ACOG aside from eye relief, it would be the inability to accurately gauge windage for both wind and moving targets. You have the reticle, but it just isn't good enough and boots don't get enough training to fully understand what the little hash marks mean.

We had a guy on the M9 range suck so bad he got kicked off the range for being a safety violator (and an adverse fitrep) after continuously (multiple rounds over several days with multiple instructors trying to teach him) shooting the concrete blocks surrounding the machine that spun the target.
So I definitely believe you.
