Nice find Cliff! I considered that one before picking up my CR6720 HBAR. Enjoy it when you get it!

Again. Not to be rude, but Grant had them in stock a little while ago. He is OOS at the moment.

If you read a few post back I mention this.

Your average joe doesn't even know the difference. I have an FN military issue upper with non F-marked front sight base. It shoots and zeroes just fine. I could care less about an "F" unless it impacted function.

I want a rifle that is as analogous to the m16a4 as possible (that's the whole point of purchasing this rifle...otherwise id just pick up the bcm). Im waiting until these things are universally shipping with the F marked FSB.

Does it matter? Does it zero? This is really something that belongs on TOS and not here. My only question is if your are being that anal about the "F" marked FSB do you have a Knights M-5 RAS to go on it? I think that would be more appropriate than worrying if the FSB was cut a little higher (0.040).

    To me, yes.

Anecdotal reports indicate yes. Although I have read at least once instance where someone was not able to zero their rifle.

Disagree, but do you feel better now that you got that off your chest?

Yes, I do. And no, I think "worrying" over the F-mark is far more appropriate as replacing and re-drilling a FSB is a daunting near impossible task where replacing a drop in hand guard is a matter of pulling down on the delta ring....

I would like to read that account of not being able to zero a non-F marked Colt A4. Do you have a source?
