I use 124r Montana Gold JHP, 4.0 titegroup winchester small pistol primer at al 1.15. I have probably shot well over 10k of this load, its my favorite.

Isn't Montana Gold the bomb?!
4.9 grains 7625 under an extreme 124 grain plated... No more 7625 though...
Depends on your application. I'm getting around 1000fps from a Black Bullets ain't 125gr TC over 4.0gr of WST. Nice load.
"An opinion solicited does not equal one freely voiced," Al Swearengen, Deadwood 1877.
Using a similar 124gr bullet, my formula was 4.9gr of Hodgdon Universal, OAL of 1.125, Federal Match primers.
Fired out of a 3.5" barrel, speed averaged 1165 fps. To keep it from hovering around the speed of sound, I think I'll reduce the load just a bit the next time around.
It had no trouble penetrating 12" of wet newspaper, which is denser than ballistic gel.
Thanks for the info that helps alot..I couldnt figure out why there were so many differences in max load.
Thanks peoples.
