Rem 700 in a tac stock vs barrett 98b tactical vs LWCR Repr

I was wondering what you guys think between the 3. All 3 would be in a 308 but the Repr which would be 7.62.
I want to be able to reach 500 yards. I already have a Noveske Project Ares 5.56. Hope this hasn't been asked before I was unable to find if it has.
    Thanks

What is your purpose besides just reaching 500 yards? Do you prefer a bolt action or semi -auto? 7.62x51 rifles will shoot 308, and vice versa. These are three different animals to compare. Personally if you just want a range gun to shoot 500 yards I wouldn't be spending $4k on a Barret just my opinion. The Rem 700 is going to be the cheaper option and a lot of options for upgrading with stocks or a chassis. I'd also consider the SCAR 17 to compare to the REPR.

Just get a 20 inch Remmy 700 with a 5R threaded barrel. It comes with a HS Precision stock. Put a Timney trigger in and bed it.

Otherwise buy an AICS stock if you want a "tactical" stock.

    +1 Pretty solid suggestion there.

Those options seem to be all over the place. I would consider what I want the rifle to do other than reach out to 500 yards because they will all do that, so will your Noveske. I will say that if I were to spend 4k+ on a rifle it wouldn't be on that Barrett.
