If TOS has this challenge, why bring it here? This isn't TOS, let's not make seem like it is.
Sorry I always see TOS, and I gotta ask what site is that an abbreviation for?
"The Other Site"
I don't necessarily see anything wrong with this "challenge". It should be more for fun and expanding your skillset as a precision marksman rather than a dick measuring contest. The "challenge" should be your previous results vs your current results and striving for constant improvement each time. Not all gear/shooters are equal in skill level, so measuring dicks with this contest would be pretty self serving. In the world of precision marksmanship groups really don't matter much anyway. It only speaks to the mechanical accuracy of the rifle rather than a shooters marksmanship. A better challenge would be a single shot at a 1.5 MOA sized target at unknown distance striving for a first round hit under field conditions.
Yeah. I mean what's the point of shooting sub moa groups at 100? Many heavy match rounds don't even stabilize at 100.
If we're going to do this, 300m is better. And it should be timed. I'd also rather have 4x 5 rd groups because ammo comes in 20 rd boxes lol. I'd also say no bench, but prone is fine.

That does sound like a lot of fun I shoot steel a 550 a good bit but I have never Shot groups at that distance.
