If TOS has this challenge, why bring it here? This isn't TOS, let's not make seem like it is.

I don't necessarily see anything wrong with this "challenge". It should be more for fun and expanding your skillset as a precision marksman rather than a dick measuring contest. The "challenge" should be your previous results vs your current results and striving for constant improvement each time. Not all gear/shooters are equal in skill level, so measuring dicks with this contest would be pretty self serving. In the world of precision marksmanship groups really don't matter much anyway. It only speaks to the mechanical accuracy of the rifle rather than a shooters marksmanship. A better challenge would be a single shot at a 1.5 MOA sized target at unknown distance striving for a first round hit under field conditions.

Yeah. I mean what's the point of shooting sub moa groups at 100? Many heavy match rounds don't even stabilize at 100.

If we're going to do this, 300m is better. And it should be timed. I'd also rather have 4x 5 rd groups because ammo comes in 20 rd boxes lol. I'd also say no bench, but prone is fine.

I'm just saying if TOS site jumped off a cliff would we? No, we would stand there recording it on our phones while we laughed and the world would be a better place

Snipers Hide is still alive (barely) and over there they are doing a similar challenge trying to hold MOA over 10 rounds at 500 yards prone with a rear bag. Its a good test and fun to shoot.
