I have Larue Rails, DD Lite Rail, KAC RAS, and DD RIS II. I have Larue rails on five of my AR's, and I will not be changing them anytime soon. The only thing I wish was if Larue would have made a continuous top picatinney rail instead of the gap.

Who bridges the gap? It's not recommended even with RIS IIs and Geisseles. Non-issue.

I like LaRue rail dimensions. They're like the KAC RAS which is what I prefer. That said, the LaRue attachment is a pain in the ass compared to modern designs. And I actually mashed the top rail on mine. I was able to pull the damage out for the most part by using the front of a cut down carry handle. But the LaRue's side walls beneath the top rail are relatively thin, and have holes machined in them too.

Went URX. Don't see myself going back unless it is a Geissele of some kind.

If you go URX 3.1 you can add or remove rails, run it slick, or put on the little pad panels.. It feels more comfortable to me
Second vote for the URX 3.1... SOLID! I love mine...

I'm liking the KMR best... but if I had to put a quad rail on something it would be DD RIS II. I still have a MK18 on my shorty I don't ever think I'll change.

DD Lite Rail III/DDM4 or Centurion Arms C4 would be my top two quad rail choices.

People still buy full quad rails? Strange.

Some people need stuff that works and don't want to mess with complete nonsense like Keymod.

I can attach everything I want, exactly where I want it, without messing with rail sections, adapters, special mounts, or tiny little special nuts. I can then take my outdated Larue rail and everything on it and thanks to old-school qd mounts, change configuration in a few seconds.

Strange as hell I know, but I'm wierd like that.

Going to call this for what it is...

Please post a pic of your carbines, I want to see how many "serious" things you have mounted and where. I'm a dummy when it comes to this stuff, so many you could teach se lessons for myself and others!?

I could not agree with you more.

In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.
