Flip a coin (as they both suck).

In my opinion I think you should Google search a Colt 6920 or 6940 OEM model. That in my opinion is the baseline and as cheap as I would get.

I take more pride in the firearms that I own than to purchase either of the two listed.

Between the two I'd rather the armalite roll mark.

But honestly I wouldn't buy either. It's a buyers market right now. Gun shops are sitting on a large stock they purchased during the panic. Now sales are way down.

    Example: I bought a Colt 6720 from PSA fro 799$. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...il-barrel.html

Colt 6720 799$ + free shipping (guess this deal is back and kicking)

I was out the door for 824$, between the 799$ gun and 25$ transfer. I'm sure you were going to pay tax on the two choices you listed, so factor that in too. So it wo'nt be a few hundred more it will be more like 20-30$ more.

To answer your original question, there isn't a whole lot of difference between the two brands. Both would make a fine rifle, so get whichever you can get a better deal on.
