Apples to oranges, but as the user of a scout light the Arisaka products fit my needs much better.

I wonder why they made the light canted so far away from the handguard?

And how come no one ever takes pictures of lights from the back? You know, so people can actually see the mounting position and what it looks like when firing? Just a pet peeve of mine. Not directed at anyone in particular, it's common everywhere.
Why do the loudest do the least?

Eurodriver, we made the collective decision to cant the mounts, so they would work around the most popular BUIS's on the market. Customer feedback is a heard and will only benefit future developments. Thank you.

702, a suggestion, if you're not cantilevering the mount off the front of the rail, I would recommend that you spread out the Inverted Mounting Screws (to the outer mounting holes) so The mount would have a wider, stronger footprint on the rail system.

    Thanks for the interest.

As soon as the photos upload I will post some. Thanks again.

I actually just turned the 1913 rail piece around where it more overhang towards the ground.
The screw holes are not centered, more to one side, just turned it around. Works fine now.

I hope the forward grip is not bothered by being directly under the gas block. It's where it is a comfortable reach.
Glad it worked out. Looks good

I did happen to spread the screws out to do what you suggested, spread the support and forces apart.
    Thanks.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

How much does the BCM mount weigh? Thanks!

    The Thorntail is 1.3oz.

I have some pics of the Thorntail KMR mount in This Thread in the Optics & Mounts sub-forum - along with some comments, but to summarize I think the BCM has more options and is probably the better option... If I had seen this thread first I would have went with the BCM initially, but regardless have decided to go with a smaller setup anyway most likely a Protac 1L or Scout 300 variant anyway.
