    Laur Custom Weapons-LMT?

Does anyone know if LMT makes the stripped lowers for Laur Custom Weapons (LCW) and if they are of the same quality and spec's.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, Lauer Custom Weaponry uses the premium lowers from LMT in their LCW15's.

I have found one that is marked as a pistol. Can I still build it as a rifle if I want? Legally that is.

Your upper needs a 16" barrel if you plan on putting a stock on it.
Unless you sbr the lower which I would not do to that "pistol" lower.
Do it to another ..... who know what the future will bring to pre-pistol lowers.
I'm located 30 miles from Lauer's, I'm not crazy about their roll mark, but I like their work.

Is this info per LCW, or other source?

No Superior lowers in their builds? No DPMS?

I was under the impression that LCW's lowers were at one time made by LMT, but are currently being made by Superior Arms.

According to Lauer's website, they list stripped lowers by Superior and LMT

So I can have a 14 1/2" barrel with a permanantly attached flashider upper with a stock and also have a 7 1/2" upper with no stock and I would be perfectly legal?
Also, if LMT makes the lower is it to LMT specs or is it to Laur's spec's?

Yes...just don't slap the short upper on when you have the stock configured

Good Question!!! I don't think LMT would make & sell anything that doesn't meet their high standard

Now if I purchased a lower marked for rifles can I still put the Pistol stuff on there? And what about having a 10 1/2" upper, or for that matter a 20" upper in a pistol configuration. When does it stop being a pistol and start being an illegal, too short rifle? Is it stock or no stock or is it much more complicated than that?
