IIRC the non-blem CD group buy lowers were pre-productions, I wonder if that plays a role -- perhaps the earliest versions were toleranced differently.
I have one of the stripped blems but no Pmag () to try in it.

Zombies seek out and eat brains. Don't worry; you'll be safe if they attack.
We have tested PMAGs extensively in our lowers and have never experienced any problems, not one. In fact, we just got in 1,800 PMAGs that we intend to include with our new lightweight builds.
Having said that, I have not personally tested any PMAGs in our pre-production lowers. I'm not sure there are any still in the building, but I intend to look this weekend.
If anyone has any of our lowers that has a PMAG fit problem and would like to return it, please PM me. I will arrange a call tag to be issued and we will get it back here at our expense.
If it turns out that PMAGs will not fit in CD lowers, I quit.

Before leaving the office a few minutes ago I tested a new FDE 30 round PMAG in 8 completed guns. There were no fit issues at all. They all drop free without issue.

I just got done testing all 30 of my fully loaded PMAG's on my 2 Charles Daly lowers and there is a little trend going on here... Out of my 30 PMAG's I have 24 standard non window 30 rounders, 4 non window 20 rounders, and two window style 30 rounders... The only two that do not drop freely out of my complete CD rifle and CD lower are the two window style PMAG's, all other 28 non window PMAG's drop free easily...
Michael @ CD has been a 100% stand up guy during my dealings with him and I can assure you he means it when he says that he would take a deffective lower back with no questions asked...
Thanks for a great rifle Michael...

Since I started the thread maybe I should conclude with I Have NO Intention on sending MY LOWER back to CD.The thread in noway was a bash against CD. Overall I'm satisfied on how my first lower build went.I was just asking if anyone else ran across this issue.I was pretty much satisfied with Rob's answer, since he has a whole lot more knowledge than I do.Thanks all for the replies and Thanks Mr. Kassnar for the great customer service.
COJAM,
I didn't take your post as a bash against CD. However, it is critical that our guns accept PMAGs without issue and I must get to the bottom of this.
I will be checking hundreds of guns and hundreds of PMAGs this weekend to see if we do indeed have a problem or if perhaps you have either a bad PMAG or an out of spec lower.
If you don't mind I would like to get your lower back for inspection. If you agree I will issue a call tag on Monday. As you have indicated that you still want the lower I will return it to you after our review.
I will report back here with my findings.
Sincerely,

P-Mags drop free in my preproduction lower. I have 5 non windowed.
Maybe the problem is the pmags. Weren't the early ones replaced with a new model due to this issue? How old are your pmags?
