Make sure that you read the whole thread and see where CD says they're going to start taking that off. CD is probably the company that has responded to, and frankly based their whole line off of more, consumer feedback more than any other.

Read that. There is a gunshow here in Houston in 2 weeks. Maybe one of the out of town vendors will bring one in that I can look at (and maybe buy). Thanks again.

We have modified production to machine away the forging flash. Just a reminder though, that you won't see it in our deliveries for a few more months. We had a lot of lowers already anodized before the changeover.

Thank you very much for your time sir. I look forward to looking at your product and, hopefully, the mid-length gas system version I have been reading rumors about will have the same specs as the D-M4LE. I don't have to purchase another rifle until November time frame so I will keep an eye out.

We will have our middy ready for you by November. There will be two versions, one configured as a lightweight A1 profile and one the same as our D-M4LE, i.e. Government profile. Both will have 1:7 twist in a 4150 barrel, (MIL-B-11595E, CrMoV Grade) plus mil-spec receiver extension, etc.

Great! I will have to talk to my dealer about the possibility of ordering one when they become available.
