I could see me toppled over a large hill in a creek with my gas tube impelling me. That's the dumbest shit ever. How about "we brought this to show the quality of our gas block" not oh it looked neat.

I thought their excuse was because some HRT team or SWAT team or other bullshit wanted it because it looked "intimidating." Which , unless they were massive fans of Escape from New York I seriously doubt. Though their FH self destructing on their rifle's torture test was pretty epic.

Question; How are they charging their MSRP?

I have never even seen an Olympic rifle in person, and reputation/build quality aside, the parts quality and listed specs just aren't there... Looking at the K3B, it offers a 1/9 unlined 4140 barrel, no mention of receiver material (benefit of the doubt here that it's 7075), no mention of HP/MP, no mention of staking, no mention of milspec or commercial spec tube, or if it's 7075 or 6061... all suggested at $1,006, while a 6920's MSRP is $1,155, and the street price difference is only about $150 as well.

    Am I missing something?

I like to call Olympic Arms the worst MAIN STREAM AR you can get. Although LWRCi seems to have taken that title. Oly doesn't pop up too much anymore these days. LWRCi seems to be the worst, main stream AR these days.

They are pretty crappy. Although I may get banned for saying this but in the past year I've seen some pretty shotty Colt Examples at my LGS as far as roll mark quality and scratches out of the box. Literally my psa blemished rifle was in the same shape appearance wise as a 6920 that my buddy pulled out of the box, I'd figure for the retail on it that it would have looked flawless as much as they are raved about. Best I've seen out of the boxes lately are RRA and DD.

I fail to understand how scratches and roll mark quality translate to ability to function.

It doesn't nor did I say it did. You don't buy brand new mud tires cakes in mud do you? My rifle is a pure mutt. It's beat up a little, but I mean damn, quality control? Guess I'm picky and broke working in a production facility

Some people value money differently. If I had a higher paying job, I'd blow money on a colt too.

I say that to say just because it runs like a champ doesn't mean that it shouldn't look new when it comes out of the box.

Your hate is so strong my friend. Someday I'll delve back into the archives to understand why lol.

Just got my upper today and she looks good from what I can tell, Best $200 spent in a long time.
