COLT Buffer Tubes? Are they all 4 position or do they have any 6 position tubes?

As the topic asks, are all of the COLT buffer tubes 4 position? I just picked up a COLT LE6920 M4A1 Carbine marked lower for my BLOCK II and the 4 position tube is OK with the LE stock but once I put my SOPMOD on, the first position has the stock a little father back than I like it due to the butt pad etc.

I want to keep it all COLT parts if possible but I'm not seeing any COLT 6 position tubes anywhere.

Option two might just be to buy an LMT tube.

Would explain why I find no rifles listed with 6 position tubes.

I'm sure Grant, Sottyryan, and some others could chime in and confirm 100% for you.

I know a lot of people use LMT buffers and stocks on BLOCK builds but would you ever see an actual LMT buffer on an issued rifle?

    Specialized armament lists a 6 position: http://www.specializedarmament.com/p...-1172-291.html
Considering their unwavering dedication to Colt (they don't sell anything but colt to my knowledge), this is likely a colt 6 position RE?

    I found this.

Apparently, Colt does have a 6-position buffer tube now. Whether they produce it or not remains to be seen.

Not really a Colt from what I can tell: "COLT COMPETITION RIFLES are licensed products of New Colt Holding Corp., and are manufactured under License by BOLD IDEAS TEXAS."
