Type of Railed Handguard on Benning's M4's

Does anybody know what type of handguard is being used on the BRM M4's at ft Benning?

I can make out every part I'm trying to identify except that. Looks like some sort of 2 piece quad rail, but can't be sure.

    I'm looking for a set.

From many of the pictures I have seen of the Army's M4s, they are most likely using the KAC M4 RAS.

Dude you nailed it first try!

Going to convert a spare M4 I have to a close copy of what they are using at Benning, and give it to one of my sons as a primer for what he will be using at Basic, Jump School, and maybe Ranger School?

    Thanks for the help!

You can get "seconds" right from KAC. I've ordered a couple sets in the past & the blems were pretty minor. Well worth the $100 savings.

    Outstanding thanks.

I'm assuming the MaTech BUIS is the most likely rear sight in use.

Man you just saved me $100!!!

This will be a beater/training tool for a year, and then handed over to the young man as soon as possible.

You never know... I've got more AR projects going then I can stay on top of, it may take a month, I'll keep a look out for it, or give me a heads up.

    Krylon is my friend. Thanks.

It is true that all non-SOCOM M4s are still using the RAS, but not all are manufactured by Knights.

My issue M4 ( and almost all of the M4s in our armory) has a rail made by P&S Products.

It's identical to the KAC ones with the exception to the barrel but clamp screw on the top rail. These have a flat head vs. allen head on the KAC.

The nice part is that although it's well documented that the Army bought a run of the P&S manufactured rails... No one seems to realize they're not Chinese airsoft clones.

I picked one up NIB for $40 on fleabay for my last clone build. Last KAC RAS I picked up was like $120 used.
